☀︎

We also visited a village where I used to spend every summer as a child. Adam had lots of fun and lots of 'work', just see for yourself!

Podczas naszej wizyty odwiedzilismy rowniez wioske, do ktorej jezdzilam kazdego lata jako dziecko. Adam mial 'rece pelne roboty', sami zobaczcie!

Every day was packed with attractions. Adam had such a lovely time and learned a lot of new Polish words! Yay!

Kazdy dzien byl pelen atrakcji. W programie byly glownie rzeczy ustawione pod katem Adasia, ale dzieki temu nauczyl sie sporo nowych slow po polsku!

It's Been a While...

There have been a complete silence on our blog for almost 6 months. Well, it's all because M is preparing for an important exam so me and Adam have to get away a lot to let him have some peace and quiet to study. That means we've had some interesting trips and adventures but when we're back there is no energy left to share them here... I will try and post a selection of instagram photos for those of you who don't follow us there.

In the meantime, here are some photos from our trip to Poland during the May Bank Holiday weekend. We managed to visit a lot of exciting for Adam places... One of them was Jura Park, a place where real dinosaur remains were discovered (by M's uncle! how cool is that?!) over 10 years ago. Now it's an amazing outdoor museum with life size figures and other multimedia attractions! Adam's into dinosaurs at the moment so he was really excited :)
More photos from Poland soon.

Dovedale - Peak District

Last Friday (a week ago), after a very lazy Christmas and New Year we decided to make a move and go to the Peak District. This time we visited Dovedale Valley for the first time. Despite absence of green it was lovely, with river (stepping stones too) and beautiful rock formations.
After a long walk we stopped by in Ashbourne and visited some beautiful antique shops. Local butcher was quite something too ;)

W zeszly piatek (tydzien temu), po leniwych Swietach i Sylwestrze postanowilismy sie 'ruszyc' i pojechalismy do Peak District. Tym razem odwiedzilismy Doline Dovedale. Pomimo braku zieleni, miejsce to urzeklo nas swoim urokiem.
Po dlugim spacerze pojechalismy do miejscowosci Ashbourne i odwiedzilismy tamtejsze piekne sklepy z antykami. Lokalny rzeznik tez byl niczego sobie ;)
